An international manufacturer of safety equipment located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, MSA is a rapidly growing company with annual revenues of more than $1 billion. Their eCommerce division recently moved the US site to the hybris platform. Since the US site has met with considerable success, MSA was ready to extend the same platform to Canada & Mexico. In addition to front-end development, the project also included extensive back-end customization to improve usability for site administrators and product managers. A key addition was moving the product selector functionality from a third-party site onto the hybris platform, in an effort to leverage existing product data.
I created the wireframe and flow below to provide details about future product selectors before development occurred. This helped business users understand what would change about the display once the questions (and answers) were managed in-house.
